Environmental thermoeconomic performance analysis of gas turbine combined cycle under off‐design conditions

Although the gas turbine combined cycle (GTCC) system has better environmental performance, it still emits pollution gases such as CO2 and NOx. It is reasonable necessary to add cost power production of GTCC system. Based on structure theory thermoeconomics, through pricing pollutants (considering costs NOx emission), thermoeconomic (ETC) model developed in this study, which achieves absolute internalization costs. Taking with different (GT) operation strategies research object, influences conditions ETC are studied. The results study show that beneficial maintain higher inlet temperatures (T3) outlet (T4), thus ensuring strategy (using guide vane (IGV) control T3 at design value then keep T4 its maximum (IGVT3-650-F) lowest ETC, 0.09429 $/kW·h 75% load rate (GTLR) 0.10079 50% GTLR, respectively; reducing emission can reduce unit ETC; for combustion chamber, pollutant generation component unit, most affected by damage cost; air temperature improve performance.
